"Big, fluffy, scary"

Films: Deadly Eyes (1982)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of small dogs.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: In the slightly-less populated areas of human society, the rats roam free, rarely encountering much opposition. Now, they're bigger and hungrier than ever before. This, obviously, is a bad thing.

History: Several rats have been gorging themselves on a contaminated grain for some time in Toronto. When the place is burned down, the rats are forced to find greener pastures. In the form of human settlements. And they aren't exactly picky eaters...

Notable Kills: A toddler is snatched from a high chair by the little devils at one point.

Final Fate: Most of the rats are killed off in a fiery explosion. But some survived, and were last seen in a train...that probably got fumigated soon afterward.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-They come in swarms, and are big enough to overpower you in relatively small groups. Sure, they can look a bit fake at times, but then they bare their sharp teeth...

Trivia: -The rats were mostly played by dachshunds in costumes. Only one died on set, the rest were okay.

-This film was loosely based on the story, "The Rats" by James Herbert.

"Before we recieve freedom, let's take the time to make this random stranger suffer!"

"Mutated dauchshunds! No, wait..."

Flesh on the cob, I guess.
Jesus! Okay, you go back to looking cheap!

That's it. Another reason never to go to New York.
